Get Your RCTA Reduced Fare Rider Photo ID Card
With a Reduced Fare Rider Photo ID Card from Redwood Coast Transit Authority (RCTA), you can pay less for your rides!
How to get your card:
- Visit RCTA’s front desk from Monday to Thursday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Bring your valid state ID and one of these documents to prove you have a disability (required for the Free Rides Program):
- Completed RCTA MEDICAL VERIFICATION FORM (click to download) – incomplete forms will not be accepted
- Your Social Security Insurance (SSI) or Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) award letter
- Medicare card (Medicaid is not accepted)
- VA Disability letter showing 50% or more disability
- Have your photo taken for the card.
- If everything is in order, you will get your new card before you leave.
Important information:
- This card cannot be shared with others.
- Lost cards will cost $5 to replace.
- The card lets you ride all RCTA regular routes for free, thanks to a grant. This free ride program might change, but your card will still let you pay half fare.
