Lucky 7 Fuels has requested that RCTA and Curry Public Transit (Coastal Express) cease meeting and transferring passengers at the Lucky 7 Fuel Station.
RCTA will relocate its timed transfer meets with Coastal Express from Lucky 7 Fuels to La Joya Market, at the SE corner of US 101 and Sarina Road. RCTA will also add stops to Route 20 in both directions at the Crescent City Walmart to reduce the number of transfers required to reach this popular shopping destination. Initially, this relocation of the transfer location in Smith River will eliminate transit service from the Ship-a-Shore and Lucky 7 Casino areas. RCTA and Curry Public Transit will work with the Tolowa Tribe on possible new bus stop locations in this area. Don’t forget, travel on RCTA is free for youth up through 18 years of age, college students, Veterans, Seniors (65+) & Disabled Riders (with ID).
